Who I Am

I’m an AI Software Solutions Engineer at Intel India with 5+ years of experience in GPU software development, AI frameworks, and graphics systems. My work sits at the intersection of deep learning, compiler infrastructure, and GPU hardware — building the low-level foundations that make large-scale AI workloads fast.

I specialize in PyTorch GPU extension development, kernel enablement via SYCL C++ and Triton backends, and AI accelerator/GPU integration. I’ve contributed to Intel’s driver stack (DirectML, DX12, UMD), deployed large video AI models on Intel GPUs, and led research spanning AR/VR, vision transformers, and educational AI tools.

Work Experience

AI Software Solutions Engineer — Intel India

June 2021 – Present

  • PyTorch GPU extension development and kernel enablement (SYCL C++ & Triton backend) for AI-accelerator/GPU integration
  • Profiled and optimized AI LLM models for PyTorch Compile on AI accelerators, achieving significant throughput gains
  • Developed PyTorch features: quantization, deterministic execution, C++ callable modules, strided tensors, channels-last memory format
  • Built an AI Agents framework that validates mathematical properties of PyTorch operators across all major hardware backends
  • Deployed Video Vision Transformers on Intel GPUs for cloud gaming/VDI — 10x assessment throughput, 50% better frame corruption detection
  • Server driver development (Indirect Display Driver & UMD: DirectML DX12) for Intel Arctic Sound M and Ponte Vecchio — 95%+ driver health at beta release
